Agreeing to these terms
By installing any of our apps or using getwhatsgrouplink.com (together, the Service), you agree to these Terms. There is no signup and no button to click — using the Service is how you accept. If you don't agree, please stop using it and uninstall.
These Terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which is part of them.
Who can use the Service
The Service is for people 18 and over. Group listings are submitted by the public and some categories can contain adult content, so we don't consider it suitable for children. By using the Service you confirm you are old enough where you live, and that you are not barred from receiving services under applicable law.
How listings work
Anyone can submit a group from inside the app — the website is read-only and points back to the apps. Submissions go through moderation before appearing publicly, and an approved listing may appear in the apps, on this website, in category and trending feeds, and in search results until it expires or is removed.
- We don't buy, own, or resell group listings.
- We don't guarantee placement, visibility, or how many members a listing attracts — including for paid placements described below.
- We can change the categories, ranking, layout and eligibility rules at any time, and listings may move or drop as a result.
Rules for submitted groups
You may submit a group only if all of the following are true:
- You are an administrator of that group, or its administrator has asked you to list it.
- The invite link actually opens that group, and the name, description and category describe it accurately.
- Any image you attach is one you may legally share — not someone else's artwork, a celebrity photo, or a screenshot of a private conversation.
- The group follows WhatsApp's own terms and the law where its members are.
We remove, without refund, listings that are spam or duplicate, misleading, designed to scam or defraud, sexual content involving anyone under 18, incitement to violence, hate or harassment, illegal goods, services or gambling, personal information that isn't yours, impersonation of a brand or person, or groups whose only purpose is to drive traffic somewhere else.
Your content and licence
You keep ownership of the name, description and image you submit. By submitting them you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute them in connection with running the Service — which is simply what lets us show your listing in the app and on this site.
That licence ends when the listing is deleted. We don't claim rights in your group, and you can revoke the licence at any time by using the removal page.
Removing a listing
If you submitted it: delete it yourself, immediately, at /delete-group, using the recovery code you were given plus the exact group name. That removes the listing and the data tied to it — images, analytics, edit requests, notifications and any promotion record. It is permanent; there is no undo and no restore.
If you didn't submit it:you can report a listing that is broken, expired, spam or harmful through the in-app report flow, or email us. Reports are reviewed by a human. If a group's administrator asks us to delist a group they control, we treat that as an owner request and remove it.
We may also remove or block listings proactively, and we may refuse new submissions from a device that keeps breaking these rules. Removal is not an admission that a listing was unlawful, and we don't promise to tell you every time — though we usually do.
Recovery codes are your responsibility
The recovery code is the only thing that proves a listing is yours, because there are no accounts. Shown once, in the form , when your submission is accepted. Your listing does stay visible in the app's “my submissions” list on the device that submitted it — that list is keyed to the device, not the code — but both this removal page and the claim-a-new-device flow ask for the code, so treat it like a password. Lost it? Email support and we'll help where we can, but we won't act on a listing for someone who can produce neither the code nor the submitting device.
Acceptable use of the Service itself
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl at volume, or bulk-download the directory or its API beyond what ordinary browsing requires.
- Interfere with, overload, or probe the Service, or bypass the rate limits on submission, claim, report and deletion endpoints.
- Reverse engineer the apps to extract ad units or inventory identifiers, or spoof a device identifier that isn't yours.
- Use the Service to market malware, phishing pages, or content that violates WhatsApp's or Meta's terms.
- Resell or white-label access to the directory as your own product.
Third-party groups are not ours
Every listed group is run by someone else. We don't control what happens inside a group, its admins' behaviour, its members, or its content once you join. Interacting with a group is at your own risk. Nothing in a listing is an endorsement, recommendation or warranty by us, and a group's presence in a “popular” or “today's pick” slot is a popularity measure or a paid placement — not a vetting seal.
The Service is an independent directory. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a purpose, accuracy of listings, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Invite links expire, groups get deleted, apps go down. We don't promise availability, and joining a group may not be possible at any given moment.
Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or from any group you joined through it. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us for the relevant promotion in the preceding 12 months, or the cap that applicable consumer law allows. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you — and nothing here limits non-excludable consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We can update these Terms as the apps evolve. The date at the top is the version in force. For material changes — a new data practice, a change to what we charge, or a change to how removal requests work — we'll flag it in the app and on this page before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after the update date means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and disputes go to the courts at the operator's principal place of business, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your own country. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest of the Terms keep working. Failing to enforce a clause isn't a waiver of it.
